The event will be a screening and activity on "The Unafraid" - a feature length documentart that follows the personal lives of three DACAmented students in Georgia. Shot over a period of four years, this film takes an intimate look at the lives of Alejandro, Silvia and Aldo and the obstacles they face when trying to go to college. This is also a story about family and community and the systematic challenges faced by the working poor and undocumented in the Deep South. A small group guided discussion will take place following the film. The screening and activity will be presented by the CUSH Immigration Task Force.
