KPL Kids To Go: Art Sparks (ages 5-12, registration opens on 11/07 at 9:00am)

Registration for this box begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 7th.

This is a fun art project that includes three different art techniques.  We will be using watercolor, crayon resist, and printmaking to create a brilliant fall masterpiece.  Watch an exclusive video of Mrs. Potter showing how to do this project here (https://youtu.be/J0Dt1zXsnq0) or follow the step-by-step instructions included in the box. 

Materials included: Foam Printing Plate, Watercolors and brush, Large piece of white paper, 1 light color crayon, Smaller sheets of watercolor paper

Materials not included: Pencil or Pen, Water-Based Markers, Scissors, Glue stick or tape 

After you have successfully registered for a box:
Boxes must be picked up Saturday, November 14 - Tuesday, November 17 at the Southwest Library. Boxes that are not picked up by close on Tuesday, November 17 will be given to those on the waitlist.  

Registrants wanting to pick up at Northside Library must call (262) 564-6150, note it in the "Special Notes" field while registering, or email hthompson@mykpl.info by 11:30pm on Wednesday, November 11th with that information. If a request is not received by that time, your box will be made available for pickup at Southwest Library by default.

This box is designed for one child. We respectfully request that each box be limited to 2 per household.

Adult supervision while using KPL Kids To Go program boxes is requiredBoxes may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Boxes may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a KPL Kids To Go program box, you are agreeing that an adult will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Kenosha Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
