Registration for this box begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 26th.
What can you spy with your little eye? Make your own sensory bottle with small Halloween-inspired items among rice and beans and see what you can find.
Materials included: Plastic water bottle with lid, resealable bag of dry rice and dry black beans, 1 feather, 1 googly eye, 2 holiday erasers, 2 black plastic spiders, 1 orange pom pom, 1 orange foam letter, 1 orange bead, 1 jewel, 1 paper funnel sheet. **Caution: This box contains choking hazards!**
Materials not included: Duct tape or glue to seal bottle, scissors.
After you have successfully registered for a box:
Boxes must be picked up Saturday, October 3 - Tuesday, October 6 at the Southwest Library. Boxes that are not picked up by close on Tuesday, October 6 will be given to those on the waitlist.
Registrants wanting to pickup at Northside Library must call (262) 564-6150 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by 11:30pm on Wednesday, September 30th with that information. If a request is not received by that time, your box will be made available for pickup at Southwest Library by default.
This box is designed for one child. We respectfully request that each box be limited to 2 per household.
Adult supervision while using KPL Kids To Go program boxes is required. Boxes may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Boxes may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a KPL Kids To Go program box, you are agreeing that an adult will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Kenosha Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
