KPL Kids To Go: Dinosaurs Galore! (ages 2-5, registration opens on 7/16 at 9:00am)

Registration for this box begins at 9:00 AM on Thursday, July 16th.

Calling all dino enthusiasts! Try this hands-on STEM activity, and make/hatch your own dinosaur egg! The fun continues with accompanying dinosaur songs and other activities.

Materials included: ½ c pre-dyed baking soda, divided between 2 bags, 1 plastic dinosaur toy, 1 pair latex-free, child-sized gloves, 1 plastic pipette, 1 Egg Observation Sheet, 1 Dinosaur Song Sheet with lyrics and movements, Miscellaneous dinosaur worksheets (by Easy Peasy and Fun), 

Materials not included: Water (approx. 4 tsp, divided), White vinegar (approx. 1 ½ cups), Dish soap, Tray with rimmed edge or tablecloth for easy cleanup, Casserole dish or some other container, Safety goggles (optional), Thermometer (optional)

After you have successfully registered for a box:
Boxes must be picked up Thursday, July 23 - Saturday, July 25 from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Southwest Library. Boxes not picked up by 5pm on Saturday, July 25 will be given to those on the waitlist. 

Registrants wanting to pickup at Northside Library must call (262) 564-6150 or email by 11:30pm on July 21th with that information. If a request is not received by that time, your box will be made available for pickup at Southwest Library by default.

This box is designed for one child. We respectfully request that each box be limited to 2 per household.

Adult supervision while using KPL Kids To Go program boxes is requiredBoxes may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Boxes may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a KPL Kids To Go program box, you are agreeing that an adult will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Kenosha Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
