Registration for this box begins at 9:00 AM on Thursday, July 16th
An out of this world adventure for the whole family! Create a moon crater painting. Play the Alien Drawing Game. Mix up some cloud dough and conduct an experiment to see how craters are formed on the moon. Make some meteoroids and compete to see whose meteoroid will land on Earth.
Materials included: Black construction paper with circle, Two containers of thick white paint, Foam paint brush, Fruit pouch cap, Star stickers, Blue paper circle, White batting (stuffing), Aluminum foil, Crepe paper, Flour (bag), Baby Oil (container in bag of flour), Mini pie pan, Rock, Four dice, Alien Drawing Game coloring sheets
Materials not included: Crayons or markers, Glue stick, Mixing bowl and spoon, Assorted rocks, gems, and marbles (optional)
After you have successfully registered for a box:
Boxes must be picked up Thursday, July 23 - Saturday, July 25 from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Southwest Library. Boxes not picked up by 5pm on Saturday, July 25 will be given to those on the waitlist.
Registrants wanting to pickup at Northside Library must call (262) 564-6150 or email email@example.com by 11:30pm on July 21st with that information. If a request is not received by that time, your box will be made available for pickup at Southwest Library by default.
This box is designed for a family of 4. We respectfully request that each box be limited to 2 per household.
Adult supervision while using KPL Kids To Go program boxes is required. Boxes may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Boxes may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a KPL Kids To Go program box, you are agreeing that an adult will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Kenosha Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
