KPL Teens To Go: Project Green Thumb (ages 12-19, registration opens 6/4 at 9:00am)

Practice some light gardening by artistically crafting your own grass head. All materials provided, including adorable pop culture faces (like Baby Yoda, Sonic, and Groot) you can color in and stick on your grass head. Paper instructions are provided and a video tutorial is available on Kenosha Public Library's YouTube Channel. 

Materials included: Pre-cut nylon stocking, grass seed mixture, potting soil, biodegradable seed grow pot, decorating materials. 

Materials not included: Drawing materials (e.g. markers, colored pencils).

This box is designed for one person. We respectfully request that each themed box be limited to 2 per household. If you need more than that, please contact Youth & Family Services at (262) 564-6150.

This box will be available for pickup Thursday, June 11 - Saturday, June 13 from 9-11am or 12-2pm at the Southwest Library. Boxes not picked up by 2pm on Saturday, June 13 will be made available for those on the waitlist. If you need a later pickup date, please call Youth & Family Services at (262) 564-6150.

To request a pickup at Northside Library, you must call (262) 564-6150 or email hthompson@mykpl.info by 11:30pm on June 8 with that information. If a request is not received by that time, your box will be made available for pickup at Southwest Library by default.

Proper supervision while using KPL Teens To Go program boxes is requiredBoxes may contain choking hazards for young children in your household, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Boxes may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a KPL Teens To Go program box, you are agreeing that an adult will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Kenosha Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
