As a precautionary measure to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Kenosha Public Library will close all locations from Monday, March 16, through Monday, April 6. This includes the Southwest, Northside, Simmons, and Uptown neighborhood libraries as well as the Bookmobile, Book Truck, and Outreach services. On date, we will re-evaluate the situation to determine if we need to extend the closure beyond date.
Like institutions around the globe, the Kenosha Public Library is watching reports about the new strain of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As a City of Kenosha department, the Library follows the directions of City Administration when a state of emergency has been declared.
