Loteria Reading Challenge
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed every year in the United States from September 15th to October 15th - it’s the perfect time to recognize the contributions Hispanic-Americans have made in our society. Celebrate with KPL and join our mini reading challenge in the style of the famous Mexican Loteria!
Loteria is often called Mexican Bingo. Both games are similar, but instead of working on getting 5 numbers in a row, you collect pictures in a row. For our Loteria Challenge, earn “Bingo” (3 pictures in a row) by reading, watching, or listening to something that is related to the picture.
Turn in your completed Loteria Card at curbside pickup, at the front desk at any KPL branch, or at any bookmobile location by Sunday, October 18th. Completed cards will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize!
Register online at mykpl.beanstack.org or pick up a loteria card at any KPL branch
Entries must be received by Sunday, October 18th
