You are here
We know that it can be hard for our youngest guests to adjust to all the changes they are facing. So Miss Heather put together this list highlighting some of the great resources and services available for kids at Kenosha Public Library right now.
What services can you and your children take advantage of through the Kenosha Public Library in the era of COVID-19?
Mystery Bags (aka “Bags of 10”)
Allow the experts in Youth & Family Services to customize a selection of books, audiobooks, movies, music, and/or developmental toys based on your child’s age, reading level, and interests. Do you have a struggling reader? A young child with a high reading level? An auditory learner? A child who prefers hands-on learning? We can pull together anything you need. Call 262-564-6150 or email email@example.com with your library card number and what you’d like for your child.
KPL Kids To Go Boxes
At 9:00 am most Saturdays from September-December, a limited number of “to go” boxes will be made available on a pre-registration basis. On alternating weeks, there are boxes for ages 0-5 and ages 12-19, and ages 5-12 and families. These boxes offer fun projects and activities for each age group. Registration for each box opens a week before the first available pickup date. See the events calendar on www.mykpl.info/events or call 262-564-6150 for more information.
To Go Crafts
Missing the craft table? We are, too. That’s why we have convenient “to go” crafts available at all KPL branches. Each week will feature a fun new craft for you to assemble safely at home. Request one at the children’s desk, or ask for one to be included with your Curbside order.

Yes, you read that right: a baby ball pit. We know—it’s our favorite thing, too.
