Library Giving Day 2020

April 20, 2020 at 4:37 PM by Brandi Cummings

Your gift means so much - and could be doubled!

As you may know, April 23 is the second annual Library Giving Day – an event that gives library lovers like you a chance to elevate and support your local library.

When the Kenosha Public Library was first preparing for this year's campaign, they couldn't have known just how important this special day of giving would be for our library this year.

In these unprecedented times, Kenosha Public Library is a constant. And that's thanks to the caring support of generous individuals like you.

This Library Giving Day, will you show your appreciation and support for your local library by making a gift?

I am relieved and grateful to announce that despite the uncertain times, a few generous donors have offered to MATCH all Library Giving Day gifts – dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,750 – through April 23.

When you give, your support will go 2X as far to help keep Kenosha Public Library stronger and more prepared to accommodate the changing times and the growing need for our many critical services.

Kenosha Public Library has recently adapted to respond to our community's desire to continue to enrich their minds and nurture their curiosity. They've helped parents navigate the at-home learning landscape and provided valuable distance learning resources to people of all ages in our community. Friday, they resume curbside pickup - to help make adhering to the Safer at Home order more comfortable for all of us.

On Library Giving Day, we can all come together as champions of our local libraries. Remember, your gift could be matched.

Thank you for helping us stay strong. We’re so grateful for your support.

With gratitude,

Courtney McNeal
Kenosha Public Library Foundation, Inc. President
