"We Are Kenosha" Community Art Project

From October 2nd - December 29th, you're invited to participate in Kenosha Public Library's community-wide art project, "We Are Kenosha." Funded by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation with a generous donation from Uline, the goal of the project is to represent and celebrate Kenosha's diverse population through art.

Come to any Kenosha Public Library location, get an index card, and simply draw or write a response to one of the following questions:

Who are you?
What is important to you?
What do you love about Kenosha?

You may also see art supplies and collection boxes at participating organizations and businesses throughout Kenosha. If you run an organization or business in Kenosha and would like to host this project at your location, please contact Heather Thompson at hthompson@mykpl.info for more information.

Though the "We Are Kenosha" project runs until December 29th, locations may end their participation early if supplies run out.

Submissions may be digitzed and put into an online gallery. They may also be displayed in Kenosha Public Library branches. The Kenosha Public Library reserves the right to decide which responses will be digitzed and/or publicly displayed, and which will be omitted. Please do not include any identifying information, such as your full name, address, phone number, or email address, in your response.
