ABOUT THE EVENT:
The doors will open on October 7th, 2017 at the historic Simmons Library for a stylish, Great Gatsby-inspired evening of festivities, where the Kenosha Public Library Foundation will highlight the contributions of our extremely dedicated community members. This year the honored guest will be Betsy Brown, accepting the Library Legacy Award on behalf of herself and her late husband, Howard.
The $75 tickets will include music, wine, beer, and champagne, and fabulous small plates and desserts from Sazzy B. There will be a silent auction including coveted items like a set of four Disney passes. This is also an incredible chance to hear the history of the Simmons Library, which was designed by famed architect and urban designer Daniel Burnham.
The event will close with a stunning fire-dancer show by an internationally acclaimed dance troupe on the terrace and lawn of the Simmons Library.
To reserve your tickets, you may stop into the Library Administration building any weekday between 8 am and 4:30pm at 812 56th St. You may also buy tickets online at the link in this Facebook event or at http://bit.ly/KPLFGALA
