Kenosha County Job Center (KCJC)
Assists employers and job seekers in making the connection that leads to people finding employment. Job hunters can utilize KCJC services to find a job or a better job. Over 25 different workshops on job search preparation, career development, computer, and life skills are available on a rotating schedule to assist individuals in their employment efforts. They include such topics as career awareness, resume development, interviewing techniques, labor market information, financial management, time management, and parenting information. These workshops are available to the public at no cost.
Resume Assistance
WinWay software offers 12,000+ resume templates and cover letter assistance. There are many other features to this software - visit the information or reference desk at Southwest, Northside, Simmons or Uptown for assistance or more information.
LearningExpress
Looking to land a job? You'll find an entire learning center dedicated to helping you get the one that's right for you. LearningExpress is available at no cost from your home computer or in the library with a valid Library card.
Free Computer Classes
KPL offers free computer classes on various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more! Click here to find a class. All classes are free to the public and held in the Southwest Library Computer Lab. Class size is limited to 15 per session. Registration is required by calling (262) 564-6130.
